These terms apply to the My Lineup app on iOS and Android (the "App") and to mylineupapp.com. My Lineup is run by Alfie Tapping, an independent developer based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Using the App
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the App, except where the law allows it;
- interfere with the App, its ads or its services, or try to get around any purchase, unlock or security features;
- use the App to create or share anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes anyone else's rights.
The rules of the App Store or Google Play, depending on where you got the App, also apply.
Subscriptions and purchases
Some features need a subscription or in-app purchase. The price and billing period are shown in the App before you buy.
- Payment is taken by your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- If a free trial is offered, you'll be charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App doesn't cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. This doesn't affect any rights you have under consumer law.
Ads
The free version of the App shows ads, including optional ads you can watch to unlock content. Ads are provided by third parties, and we're not responsible for their content or for any products or websites they promote. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising works.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you create in the App, such as lineups, custom players, names and photos. This content is stored on your device. You're responsible for it, and for having the right to use any photos, names or images you add, especially of other people. Please don't add someone's photo without their permission.
Player names, club names and images
The App includes names, images and other material relating to real players, clubs, leagues and competitions so you can create lineups. My Lineup is an independent app and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any player, club, league, federation or other rights holder. All names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
If you own rights in material shown in the App and have concerns about how it's used, please contact us at the address below and we'll look into it promptly.
Our content
Apart from your own content and third-party material, the App and this website, including their design, code, graphics and text, belong to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the App running smoothly and improve it over time, but we may change, add or remove features, content or data, and we can't promise the App will always be available or free of errors. Player data and images may not always be complete or up to date.
Liability
The App is provided for entertainment and personal use. To the extent permitted by law, it's provided "as is", and we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. If you're a consumer, these terms don't affect your statutory rights.
Ending your use
You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously break these terms. The sections on your content, intellectual property and liability continue to apply after that.
Apple App Store additional terms
If you downloaded the App from Apple's App Store:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App.
- If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
- If anyone claims the App infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- You confirm that you're not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you're not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the App.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. If you keep using the App after a change, the updated terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and you can bring claims in your local courts.
